Celebrate Dr. Seuss!

Dr. Seuss Day at the Almaden Library!

Come celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Almaden Branch Library. The day's schedule includes crafts, reading stations, birthday party (3:30PM), and Teen Creativity Workshop.  

   

Here is a list of fun activities centered around Dr. Seuss from The Educator's Spin On It.  I love the recipes, they're fun ideas for the weekend! 

This weekend is the American Consignment Company Sale for kids in Los Gatos!  Go early for the best selection, or wait 'til Sunday for reduced prices.  See dates and times below.

Tuesday, March 5th, the Los Alamitos PTA presents guest speaker, Family Coach and Motivation Speaker, Susan Stone Belton, "Real Parents, Real Kids, Real Talk". The Almaden Valley Women's Club has several scholarships available for high school seniors.  Applications are due by March 12.  They also have the 2013 Art & Wine Festival Logo Design Contest also finalized by April 12.
